New Aliexpress 153 in 1

I went ahead and pulled the trigger on one of these from AliExpress. They took their sweet time to ship it, though they did message me mentioning they were struggling to keep up with order volume.

Now that it’s here, I've run into an issue: out of the 153 games, and exactly 50 of them have garbled sprites. Specifically, it affects everything from the letter "D" (Double Dragon) all the way through the last game under "N" (Ninja Master's).

For context, I’m running this cartridge on an MV1-FS board with UNIBIOS 4.0. All of my legitimate, non-multicart games work perfectly. I've also verified that my voltage is steady on the 5V rail (reading at 5.2V with a game running), so it doesn't appear to be a power issue.

I’ve read about DIY fixes for similar graphical issues on older multicarts, so I’d love to explore troubleshooting options before I give up and go through the hassle of an AliExpress refund/return. Any advice or common fixes to look into?
 
Someone posted a youtube video a while back detailing the issues with that cart and Double Dragon’s garbled graphics were specifically highlighted in that video. You’re probably better off just trying to return it as opposed to fixing it because it just seems like a less than half-baked producf.
 
I doubt there is going to be any easy fix. If it were that simple, the seller would've just made it that way to begin with, but instead they cut corners.
