New Astro metal box

Do somebody knows how to open that steel box? I'd like to remove the counter.
I see two lightly moving parts coming out the back and maybe the assembly lines also represented in red... I don't know. I'm on it since a few days but I didn't find any ways to open it.

There's rivets that you need to drill out.

There's 2 or 3 of them, can't remember. Then the thing just slides out.

What does ''drill out'' means in that case? Maybe I don't have the proper tool for that. Should I insert smt to push?

But this will definitely damage the part...
Maybe is it a way to remove only the counter from its front side?

Not much you can do to remove rivets easily without carefully drilling out the center.
Its similar to if you had to drill out a lock core because there was no way to get the lock off without a key.

As a side note since there is also probably no way to easily add screws in place of the rivets when putting this back together.
You will need a rivet tool and some rivets to put it back probably.

I see. Which size of drill bit would be the most indicate to drill that rivet, 1mm or 2mm?
