What's new
@Murray -- I have a placeholder on the site at $110 AUD (approx $80 USD), but could come down to $100 AUD (approx $72 USD). Just waiting on the shipping situation to be clarified from Japan for this package before I can give final prices :). Let me know via PM if you need one, or more.

Just a quick update on the store! Lots of stuff sold out and I've managed to restock most of it. Thanks for your support...

@everten Stereo Boards are now live and up on the store!

Got some control panel and other offerings from @alberto1225

Got @Axun JJ-CBOX setup's there too.

MP07-IONA are for order and will be shipped out in a fortnight...

Put up some JST connectors and other small bits and pieces too.

btw. the CPS-1 Mutli is sold out, and will look at restocking when @Darksoft has a breather...

Got my multi, install pdf and YouTube video made the install a breeze. I have a non dash board modified to 12mhz, recapped as well, with a heatsink on the A board gfx chip.
Communication was great and a lucky owner of a q sound chip too. Thanks @djsheep and obv @Darksoft . Well worth the wait. Keen for the extra bits to become available.

You didn't waste any time getting it set up! :D

Very, very cool!
My package is en route and it feels a little like Xmas.

Mine also arrived super quickly, thanks @djsheep. I've had issues getting it working; I assume C Board related (I've tried 2). I managed to bend pins on the PAL I removed from the A Board unfortunately, so I cannot even check if the A Board is still working.

Anyway, sorry for the digression. Excellent service.

What’s the symptoms you’re having on the multi? Every C-Board I shipped with the deluxe kits was tested one by one on the actual multi :( — The fact you have tested two C boards maybe hints it’s something else?

Ensure the C board is placed real firmly in place from the edges as well as toward the middle. I can send another C-Board down or replacement PAL mate. Drop me a line.

In the meantime can you also check / show pics of your soldering points, wire connects and confirm the SD contents (/game directory in root). Also double check the PAL is indeed in the correct orientation and your boardset is secure. 10MHz or 12?

I think you're right about the C Board. They both appear fine visually, neither have been messed with (beyond removing the battery on one of them myself). The symptoms are scrolling coloured lines on same games, nothing at all on others. No game I've tried works. The LCD selector appears to think that the games are there, appears to program them and reports that the write was succesful and, I think, resets the board (not 100% sure on the last bit). It is a 12 mhz board. I've tried various dipswitch combos but I don't that's the issue. I'll triple check the PAL orientation (I've done it twice, the dot is point) and upload pics of the solder joints.

Check the solder joints and make sure they’re definitely on the right pins and not bridged. The pins are tiny so make sure you’ve flowed enough solder to make a solid connection. Also confirm that the reset and QSound cables are on the right pins on the multi.

Put all your dips on all three banks to off while we troubleshoot. You’re more than welcome to send the stack to me to install / troubleshoot it for you too. But we’ll try get it diagnosed here.

I am now the very proud owner of the CPS1 Multi via www.CandyCabClub.com

My heartfelt thanks to @Darksoft for slogging it out under very trying global conditions and barriers. I hope you continue hitting home runs mate.

I purchased the Deluxe CPS1 kit and am extremely pleased with the service from Candy Cab Club. I asked a bunch of silly noob questions and @djsheep explained things to me so I could get into gaming ASAP. This weekend will be dominated by The Punisher and Strider play throughs!

Additionally, big props to @djsheep who packed everthing very safely and securely. Fast shipping too, it got to me nearly 2000kms away in just over a day.

I have previously purchased the pre-built CPS2 Multi from Candy Cab Club and received an awesome kit with no hassles, that worked straight away. Having a no headache gaming experience is important to me and it is why I will continue to shop with Candy Cab Club and encourage others to do so. This type of personal service is rare these days.

The TLDR is; www.CandyCabClub.com is a premium service and I count myself lucky to have this shop and his expertise within easy contact in the community.

Very pleased to hear these kind of words and nice feedback. There was really a lot of job behind these. We hope you enjoy your multi!

Going to put some on my boards, what heatsink did you use @evilsim
Just some rando 2cm ones from aliexpress which I stick onto DE10 nano boards.
The ones which are 0.6cm high are a better fit under the multi board. I have lots of the taller ones which still fit, PM me if you need some sent. Buying locally is not phea$ible for me so i get from china.

Do you have a link to Aliexpress or something? Need 2 pieces as well :)

Got someone in Adelaide with issues with issues getting his CPS-1 multi up and running.

Was wondering if anyone down there can help give it a look or has a spare CPS-1 stack/A-Board for him to test on / or even sell?

Let me know. I have people in Brissy, Gold Coast, Sydney and Melbourne to call on, but Adelaide is slim pickings.

Cheers.
