New Net City Enhanced remote (PD-1843)

I needed one, and figured someone else may need one too at some point, so I had a few made and it's now available on my website.

I take zero credit for figuring this stuff out - I did play around with other resistor values with a resistor decade box, but could not trigger any additional menus on my PD-1843 chassis.

The J1 solder jumper give you extended contrast & brightness, but if I understand @BuddyC correctly, you should adjust the fly-back first before resorting to that(?).

Yup. Make sure that the flyback does most of the heavy lifting.

OSD geometry settings aren't available on all of the models.

No OSD geometry settings on PE0493. It uses manual pots directly on the chassis.

Can you get ro gain and bias rgb settings with the remote? My toshiba seems to have crushed blacks so basically everything grey is totally muted. And according to some people you can enhance this with the gain settings.

Yes, you have both cut off and gain adjustments in the extended menu.

For crushed blacks you’ll want to bring up the cutoffs or brightness.

Or G2 voltage with the screen pot on the flyback.
