How should I use SD2PSX_ARCADE_DONOR_KELF? Where is this on the SD card? Thank you

The donor elf just holds the key (it's signed unlaunch)and the software just signs a dongles boot.in to the same key as arcade donor

Thanks for posting this! I been sitting on a 256 I just ordered the bitfunx sd2psx to give this a try. Looking forward to the multi launcher your working on.

Please confirm if it works! I've been told last week that the SD2PSX from bitfunx still doesn't fit on the port.

If that's true, the only solution is the PSXMemCard Gen1 😭

Are there no extension cables for the memory port ?

I see, so there is a niche market opportunity here :)

Its just 1mm too thick unfortunately. But could easily be fixed with a small bit of filing. I think an extension cable would be nicer, shouldn't be too hard to make one.

Have you considered doing the right thing instead?

Inspired by rewrite, disassembling the case and sanding down a bit of the screen bezel makes the card fit nice and snug, however a extension cable would still be great so the screen can be seen :)

You can barely tell its been sanded.

Can someone make a 3D print of the upper shell without this border.

THANKS

Question for you @El_isra , Would this setup also work with the MemCard2Pro, from 8-bit mods?

Similar setup that links to psx and ps2, but is also wifi compatible for save games/backups/updates.

MemcardPro2 will be compatible

I've already provided the 8bitmods crew with all the needed info for adding arcade and prototype magicgate.

When the device is publicly compatible, I will announce it here too

got confirmation that the magicgate key switch is working.

McPro2 support for arcade and prototype magicgate will be here soon! (retail and dev are already available on public firmware)

Okay so sanding it is, a replacement case or extension would be nice.

since this is a system256 exclusive issue, maybe a solution that deals with memory card and joystick simultaneously would be cool

Yeah, I think controller support is limited for 256.

Can you give some steps on the setup

Is first step just the adding the MagicGate Challenge IV and then adding wlaunchelf

How is the script used? Is this to add in the actual 2x6 dongle to the sd2psx?
