I've tried two HDMI splitters so far, each aren't allowing the signal to go from the splitter to the monitor (hdmi to dvi converted). Is there a certain type that'll actually shake hands with a splitter so I can plug in multiple devices to my Vewlix?

Really appreciate it. Thanks.

You might be having an HDCP issue? What devices are you using as the source that are causing the problem?

Also, which dvi type adapter are you using?

DVI to HDMI adapter:

Devices currently are a Phantom Canyon NUC and an Xbox 360 (in the short future a Taito Type X3).

And yeah, it's what Im thinking at this point. That matrix splitter I listed has a few different HDCP listed, were the two I bought previously seemed to be passive listing none. Wondering if this would help?

Is it possible it’s the dvi to HDMI cable from Amazon basics that’s the problem? Any recommendation on one that might not give me issues?

I've had good luck with a variety of Cable Matters cables (available on Amazon) recently including their HDMI cables.

Ok cool thanks, I'll check them out today. Because frankly, I really don't want to buy any more splitters lol.

My next splitter arrived today in the mail. I've tested it and it works! Huzzah! And it even has a built in audio extractor so only one 3.5mm cable into my Vewlix amp to enable sound across my devices!

Did I say it worked? lol it only worked with the 360 then started having major static issues due to a low grade audio extractor. NO pic whatsoever could be achieved on the phantom canyon.
