This one is mostly hated but it’s an oddity that needs more love! Especially with the character roster. I believe some people have kits with the gd roms and marquee security chip etc. in a different cabinet like Virtua Tennis which also uses Naomi hardware. These are rare let alone finding a dedicated cabinet though I think it exists. I’m looking for a dedicated cabinet though I would still love a conversion that has the marquee gd rom and marquee. It’s clear that so much love went into the game!

I don't believe this was ever released in a dedicated cabinet, I've certainly never seen one. Capcom rarely had dedicated cabinets. Most games were released in generic Dynamo cabs, and Even the "Big Blue" cabs were borderline generic cabs.

Do you have an official flyer, documentation, or even a photo that leads you to believe there was a dedicated cabinet?

Yeah, you’re both right no dedicated but there are converted cabs. My apologies so the security chip marquee with the gd-rom. Which is perfectly fine with me! I know this one is rare enough. As long as it has the gd rom security chip and marquee that’s ok.

no dedicated but there are converted cabs.
are there other types 😂?

so the security chip marquee with the gd-rom.
the official Marquee looked like this:
b54519aa-4393-4db8-b0d7-91487faad18b.jpg

I would guess that it also included a manual and some move strips. if you find a copy of the manual it might include a list of all the kit content and somtimes even has images of the "recommended" cabinet.

Also this is NAMCO System 246 and is a DVD-ROM game not GDROM (GDROM is a Sega only technology)

God freaking damnit sorry that’s my fault, I should’ve just looked it up you’ are correct. So then that means it’s like Soul Calibur ii right and uses a dongle correct?

Then there’s the whole dilemma of hypothetical getting everything in place I’d probably have to use a step down converter because of Japan’s voltage difference for electronics…

Japan uses 100V AC (60Hz) USA uses 120V AC (60Hz)
but that only applies to devices that injest AC power from the wall outlets. So the arcade cabinet itself, NOT the game PCB.

most arcade cabinets can support between 100V and 120V AC and don't require a step down converter. I've got 8 Japanese market machines and none of them have nor require step-down converters.

The reason the Japanese market PS2 needs one (though I'm not sure that it actually does) is that the power-supply is integrated into the console; that's not the case for most arcade PCBs including the System 246 PCBs.
