If I'm looking to put a TTX3 unit inside a Noir and use the JVS port on the TTX3 for my IO, what sort of IO do I need to get? The Jamma edged Sega IO won't work right? Thoughts?

The Noir has its own I/O, are you saying the TTX3 doesn’t recognize it?

Yeah, but it's possible to use a JVS IO as well, but that aside. Lets say you have a NAOMI setup, you can just plug the USB cable from the NAOMI straight into the NOIR IO board... that's correct right?
Correct, the Noir has its own I/O board that you can plug a JVS system into, like a Naomi for instance.

Blasphemy
Thanks for confirming this!
just to clarify, the Noir has the JVS I/O at the back behind the centre panel and where you would put your 357/naomi/TX3 in in the front there is an intermediate board which you plug into (JVS, video and audio) this then links to the actual I/O, monitor and amplifier.

Picture of the 'intermediate' or STD CONNECT board.
