NOTHING IN THE BACKGROUND IS FOR SALE. DO NOT ASK.

Looking to sell my OK Baby candy cab, a Taiwanese candy cab that is mostly made of plastic known for yellowing badly. The short is that I got this as junk and restored it on a budget, and it was a good workhorse for several years but 7 candies is too many for my living room. This cabinet features a digital trisync monitor with no burn, new reliable Meanwell power supply, and brand new controls.

The good:
  • It's been painted and NOT piss yellow anymore
  • It's been completely stripped and deep cleaned
  • New industrial Meanwell power supply
  • New LED lamp fixture
  • Neotec trisync chassis has been fully serviced and the tube is burn-free. Supports VGA input for PCs natively.
  • New Sanwa sticks and buttons
  • New control panel overlay, panel is rust-free
  • Subwoofer installed, audio can support speaker level input for jamma or line-level for JVS. Honestly one of the best sounding cabinets I have.
  • Includes topper from ArcadeArtRepro
The bad:
  • Paint job is only OK. I did it in my backyard using a mix of cheap clear and good clear, some is yellowing now after a few years. Paint on control panel surround wore off and I just put some white PPF vinyl over to cover it.
  • Paint job is NOT durable enough for public use but fine for home.
  • Crack on side of control panel which I did patch before painting and was solid for years, but unfortunately it cracked again when I was moving the cabinet.
  • Monitor static convergence is only acceptable. It's a bit of a hackjob of tube/yoke parts I had lying around. Still looks pretty good in 15khz and has been rock solid for years.
Asking $2000 $1800 OBO. Would accept partial trades for PCBs, MVS carts, etc.

Pickup outside Seattle WA.

This OK Baby looks like a lot of the internal parts that are normally gutted out of these cabs are still intact (PSU setup, PCB mounting tray, and maybe the CRT frame although I can't see for sure). I've seen many of these cabs with all the wiring and power hacked out, and later replaced with crap.

Looks to be in pretty good condition, especially compared to other OK Babies normally seen. If I was closer to WA, I would give it a serious look. GLWS!

mine ended up cracking in that exact area as well lol. I ended up doing a fiber glass patch work on mine

Yeah I drilled the end of the crack and used acetone + ABS slurry. After the first repair, I put all my weight on it and was unable to break it. Fast forward about 3 years and sadly it broke again. :(

Monitor frame is original--I tracked one down from China. These use a unique frame specific to the cabinet, and getting a regular one in without it would be very sketchy. This cabinet came from a lot of 6 cabinets from a Chinese operator in Canada and they were all various levels of hackjob. Everything wrong with this one has been cleaned up.
