hi, I would like to know if it's possible to add the extended contrast unlock button ? it's basically a on/off button that connects ground to another pin, I don't remember which one, it allows to access extended contrast level

I'm not understanding what you're trying to get access to. But if you look at this picture:

You will see that it gives you access to more color options and CONT. Is that what you're asking?

no, there is a missing on/off switch on the remote that makes you access a contrast superior to 100, that's why it's called extended contrast

yes pin 38 to 42, and I remember there is also a function called H-FREQ which resets the horizontal frequency with old pcbs which can go out of sync

Wow, very interesting. I didn't know about these. Thank you for pointing them out. Hrm... I wonder if it's worth it to redesign my PCB.

the h-freq should be tested a bit because I don't know if it's compatible with all revisions, but the extended contrast is a must have imho, I can't live without it because I often switch between vga/jamma and the contrast/brightness levels can vary a lot depending on pcb... it's always switched on on my setup.

I recall reading somewhere that the original Toshiba Service remote had 16 buttons, someone reported he already seen it, but no one discovered all the buttons yet. I remember I accidentally accessed "Memory" function on the OSD because of a short in my cable buttons generated random functions.

Since there is no documentation it's hard to find these, somone in the wild must have the original one !

I don't have a Toshiba PF chassis yet to go with my Toshiba tube. But I'll take one in case I end up with one.
