Pac-man Jr. Pcb bootleg???

Hey guys.

I Just found this pcb in my collection and tryed to hook it up to my arcade machine. The game boots but only in Orange colour and the screen rolls uncontrollably.

I can just about make out that it says Pac-man Jr.

My question is, is this harness soldered on here some sort of "upgrade"? And would it be better to take all this off and set the chip on the extra board back on the original PCB
To make it work better?

That's a Pengo bootleg modified to run Jrpac.
The wires and extra board are part of the modification.
Check your jamma adapter, should be Pengo pinout to jamma

So, i got this one in my testbench, it is alive, but i cant get it to synch right on the screen.

What should i look for here?

I figured out the problem with the wierd screen issue. But now i have another issue.

Since this is a Pengo bootleg, i cant seem to set it to cocktail mode. The dipswitches seems to do little. Anyone know how to get the game to flip between 1Player and 2Player?
