Ok folks, what are the current market prices for Darsksoft multis a complete setup ready to go with all the addons,mb, plexis, etc...

CPS2
CPS3
ST-V
F3
MVS
Deco

What about other multis, again systems/setups that are ready to play ?

TTX
TTX2
GNET
Sega C2
M72
Sega Sys 24
Naomi 1/2 Netboot

Hopefully this will help some that are just getting into the hobby, or have finally decided to get multi solution and are trying to figure what they should expect to pay/get.

This not meant to be some type of price police thread,
more of guide so some folks dont get that sticker shock and be like
giphy.webp

example:

CPS3 Setup
MB
Full set of simms
DS Superbios Cart
SCSI2SD maybe w/preloaded SD Card
scsi shorty cable
Plexi Case

$800-900???

Obviously, anyone can charge whatever they want for what they got :)

Sega Sys 24
I have a spare kidney, and I'm willing.

A few serious answers:
GNET - Motherboard will run you about $180-200. That's all you need outside of CF cards and to borrow the golden BIOS chip.

F3 - You can generally get a motherboard or motherboard plus game for ~$120-180 depending on the day. Just motherboard a bit under $100 but you rarely see them alone now. Plus the cost of the multi.

Naomi 2's are over $200 last I checked, but a 1 is around $80-100. Then you need a NetDIMM for $180-220, plus whichever revision Pi you want, so that cost is up to you.

Sega C2 multi is $100 or $110 from Apocalypse? Can't remember. You can snag a donor around $50-75 most weeks. So $150-185 total.

Full CPS3 setups with plexiglass and SCSI2SD usually go for $550-650ish. $800-900 is retarded ebay bin price/bestoffer. If it doesn't have those two things or a modded cart it is usually cheaper.

- SCSI2SD is $70

-Jasen Plexiglass is like $70+shipping

-sd card like $10

-dead carts can be modded for $55 or repro one for $150.

-128 MB Simms can be tricky to find but repro ones are usually $45-55? I hope darksoft prints more as they have been out of stock going on 2 months+. Luckily I found a 128mb simm for $45. 64 MB seems to be the hard one to find if you have a Warzard/SF3 new generation setup imo

Just my opinion from what i've seen across multiple forums and yaj.

No worries brother, Im not selling any of this stuff so Im not trying to price any of it. This is just to help some people that are looking to get some of the multi setups, so they can get a sense of what it would cost. A lot of peep getting into the hobby get that sticker shock when they see the prices.

Here are the totals I have for the following Multis in USD from a spreadsheet I keep -- hope it helps (updated 19/1/19):

Capcom CPS-2 (Clean MvC A/B + Replacement Fan + Darksoft Kit): $630
Capcom CPS-3 (Full Kit with SCSI2SD + Jansens Plexi + Converted Cart + 3D Printed Shell + Sticker + SD Card): $690
SEGA ST-V (Deadstock Motherboard + 3D Printed Case + Darksoft Kit + LCD Screen Kit + Remote Dip Switch Bank): $400
Taito F3 (Motherboard + Empty Original F3 Shell + Darksoft Kit): $490
NeoGeo MVS (MV1FZ Motherboard + Darksoft Cart): $600
Taito G-Net (Motherboard, 15x CF Cards, PCMCIA Adapter, CF Reader, Bios EPROM): $220
Irem M72 (Minty Dragon Breed PCB + Apocalypse Mutli + Selector Switch): $825

* Note, some of these things needed multiple postage charges and tax to Australia, so prices may fluctuate up and down depending on the exchange rates and other variables. But I think it's a realistic starting point / point of reference.

Considering I just bought a STV I’d put that 100 more easy to $400 without casing. The DS kit is 300 alone with LCD switcher, and 100 for a known good board. Where do you get a 3D printed case? Because I’ll buy one today. I’ve seen the plexi from that NL dude, but a case would be optimal.

3D printed case for the cart I got from saveyourgames. I guess the exchange rate was good when I bought it because that's the exact price I paid, it was quite some time ago.

@twistedsymphony prints the cases

Thanks guys :)

I do have F3 stuff in stock currently but no STV cases... I should have some printed within the next week or so, I'm nearly finished recovering from a huge back log.

Maybe I'm getting the concept of a "case" vs an enclosure mixed. The control screen enclosure I've seen around. I've bookmarked @twistedsymphony's site. I was hoping to find a full sized console style enclosure for the ST-V, board, cartridge, mountable control screen area, and all.
