Sure. I did, Mitsu did, and I'd wager most people who have been in this community for over a decade did (maybe closer to 2 decades now). But most of them grew up at some point and left making juvenile attacks on others to the actual juveniles...

Almost like telling someone what to do with their property... Huh.

But really I'm not saying what people should/shouldn't post aside from not insulting others. It's not that hard to not name-call, basically everyone here is over 30 and should have figured it out a while ago.
 
Serious question. If you were to sell the game what reasonable price would you sell it for?

Conflict is going to happen. If you have super strong enforcement of the tone people use and they can't speak their mind plainly, you get this sort of passive agressiveness and people being hyper attuned trying to figure out if something offensive is being covertly said. It's very much like work e-mail/chat.

Wasn't it the guy working on the Samurai Spirits CD translation who posted his johnson and peaced out after getting sick of people bugging him for updates

Dont know anything about you, and haven't really seen any post by you in other threads I can remember, but when people make comments like this online or in real life, my experience is that you can be close to essentially sure that it's someone toxic that's best avoided.

Don't get me wrong, I'm completely down with some friendly shitposting, but from what I've seen, people who like to "tell it like it is" always just want some weird excuse to motivate them acting like an ass.

People can do whatever they want with their pcbs. It would be cool to have undumped loctest builds dumped as a curiosity to see how dev was going, but who really wants to play that shit other than out of curiosity? Hoping this ends up in the hands of someone who dumps it at some point, but it's not the end of the world if it doesn't, and he's free to do whatever he wants with the board.
 
In some parts of the US it is natural to be straightforward/blunt in informal situations and "telling it like it is" is considered a virtue. Not saying it's good or bad, cultural differences I think.

Yeah I agree!
It is really a weird coincidence how:

- I buy a pcb without public dumps, stating i’ll make sure it gets dumped
- I state I’ll make sure it ends up in the hands in someone else that can dump it safely
- It ends up in mame shortly afterwards by someone else thats afaik hasnt sent in any earlier dumps

Props to whoever dumped it!
Its really an interesting mystery!
