I've began (slowly) working on a fork of PCSX2, with the goal of running Namco system246 games
So far, I have only made a crude impl of ACRAM and ACSRAM
The purpose of this post is rather simple
Spread the word, as I will need help from people with more skill than me in reverse engineering (specially for CDROM stuff), and, most likely, I will also need the aid of someone with FPGA knowledge to investigate the Altera APEX EP20K100EQC208-2X FPGA found every system2x6 (game related files: FPGA and ACFPGALD inside dongle, FPGA file is the bitstream for the FPGA to run)
For anyone interested in collaborating, there will be two repositories:
https://github.com/PS2Homebrew-arcade/pcsx2-coh this fork is for all the modifications related to the COH-H PS2 model behavior (eg: DONGLE stuff, ACDEV driver, bios detection stuff)
https://github.com/PS2Homebrew-arcade/pcsx2x6 this is the system2x6 fork, it pulls changes from the COH-H fork from above
The idea is to keep the COH-H fork separate so that in the future, anyone interested in Konami python 1 emulation can fork that and work with an already established base
