What's new
What TS means is that some conversion PGM carts on ebay used KB as the donor cart. So if you have one of these converted carts that used KB as the donor then yeah, we could used them to get the GALs be able to make our own conversion carts using KB.
Ahh, ok.

I already have a couple conversions from Sheep but I'm trying to think if/why I still need these, lol.

If any were originally Killing Blade, lend them on to @twistedsymphony and the rest so they can reverse engineer the GAL that way other games can be "figured out". :)

I'm not sure how to check? lol

poop, I don't have it.

Thanks for checking.

Neither of mine are either. But I do have one that's got an ARM processor on it.

Which board is the GAL on? One of the conversions I have has one board that matches the top pictures from that link, but the other board doesn't match.

Anyone out there want to critique my Mouser project list for accuracy? Here is the link.

A Few Notes:
  • Quantities are for 3 PCB's, as that is how many I am getting from Fluffy
  • No 27c322 EPROM, as those must be sourced in the aftermarket as they are OOP
  • Socket quantities are to allow the clamshell to close properly
  • ATF16V8B-15PU is substitued for the GAL16V8 (hopefully)
  • Went with film capacitors for the 0.1uF cap instead of ceramic, since they are cheaper
Thanks!

The film capacitors may not physically fit, and the ceramic capacitors on mouser look suspiciously expensive for one item. Maybe it is some kind of bulk package?

This one would be 4.27 GBP for 48. (Or 5.12 GBP for 100)

atf16v8b 15pu is the type I bought, so you should get the same result as me.

Edit: Or 50 from a random eBay seller would be 99p:

Actually, the ceramic capacitors are just a few pennies more for each. I'll update the project list. The only one I was really iffy on was the resistor array. For one, never ordered one before. Also, seems there are spacing requirements that should be exact. Can you comment on which one should be used or if the one I selected is correct?

Once it is nailed down, I will build out the same project list on Digikey as another option. As of late, I find Digikey to be the better vendor. They ship faster, for less. They bag better, with better labeling. And for some reason, Mouser doesn't have JST stuff, although that isn't a problem for this project.

The type looks correct, this is the one I use:
