Hi,
While trying to fix my other MS8-26, I got a spare one, just in case.
It arrived today, but before testing it I noticed that the plastic at the top holding it to the metal heatsink is broken. I've read numerous times that cracked flybacks are a no-no and can be dangerous.
Obviously, it was broken before and glued together (visible glue residue) and that "repair" didn't survive the transport.
Any thoughts? Is it safe to use after gluing it back together?
