Read somehwere that you can switch the Super Nova Motherboard into Spinner / Knob mode.
After some digging and trial and error I managed to get it working.
To enable Knob mode you have to put DIP 1 to on which will put the board into test mode on startup.
There go to the System Configuration and enable Knob Controller.
To connect the spinner you have to build a harness for CN6 which is a 10 pin JST NH
Pinout is as follows:
1 - 5V
2 - P1 Left
3 - P2 Left
4 - NC
5 - NC
6 - P1 Right
7 - P2 Right
8 - NC
9 - NC
10 - GND
This should also work for VS. Block Breaker. I was using a standard Taito Arkanoid Spinners.
