Polishing a scratched monitor

Come to think of it the anti glare tint on the mini cute does give the picture more "contrast" and less "white washed" (i just made up this term).. you have to really crank up the brightness for the tint to do its job though. End result is quite good as compared to trying to do the same without the tint.
 
I have a B&O CRT TV with a "contrast screen". I can see the aesthetic visual appeal, but I think improved image quality should be left out of the discussion.
 
I have used microfiber cleaning cloths for cars and the cream pictured below on all my cabs. Takes about an hour of pure elbow grease per screen, but you’ll remove the coating without the risk of cracking the tube. Your arm will be sore as hell though…

Hob cleaner cream…too close to knob cleaner cream…
