Just purchased one and the back panel (see image) is missing. Normally I wouldn't really have an issue with it but I have two VERY inquisitive 8 month old kittens and I know those little shits are gonna electrocute themselves, or worse - mess up my cab. Evidently, this type of panel is difficult to come by from what I gather. So is it possible to have someone repro this, or what type of solution would you recommend? Foam board cut to shape?

(not the back of my cab, obv)

@Battlesmurf might have time to do it since he is making parts for other cabs. No guarantees, you can shoot him a message, you never know.

In the meantime, cardboards and painters tape are your friends to cover that up.

Well, sorta. I did some ebay searches, tried yaton's website, and seeing if the op Im buying the cab from might have an extry, and no dice so far.

The next step I took was bothering people here :D

I think there are a few people on Neo Geo that might have one of these cabs, but I'm not certain.

Cardboard shall suffice in a temporary pinch to keep the cats out. You can also give this a whirl yourself. A metal nibbler (it's a drill bit attachment), a straight edge to guide the nibbler, a drill and bits for the holes, LB9A (color) spray paint, and a metal brake should be that is needed. If you can't find a suitable metal brake, a few clamps and a straight edge should work. These aren't difficult bends at all.

I was wondering about fabricating one myself, but I dont really have access to a brake :/

No need for a brake. 4 clamps, 2 stiff straight edges, and 2 small sheet of wood should do it.

Lay the sheet of metal where the bend(s) should be over the butt of the two sheets of wood. Then lay the sheet of metal where the joint is/where the bend should be. Clamp the straight edges to the sheets of wood, sandwiching the sheet metal in between leaving a small gap there the bend should be. Then bend. Should be good to go from there.

Yea the cardboards sokutiin is for now until he can make something. you can use light gauge aluminum, sheetmetal etc.. bends easily, prime, paint etc… if you want. and you can make a decent cover. It all depends how you want to go about it.
