*sigh* I know this is a bad idea. But it's my favorite Cave title, and among my favorite shmups of all time.

So what's DS currently worth? Both loose and in a kit? I know what MBL is worth and in turn know I'll never own it, haha.

And just out of plain curiosity, what's a real DS2 kit and/or PC run now?

The faulty DSBL sold for $860. No picture but it still has sounds
 
It goes for a little bit less than that in Japan... you'd be looking more around 80,000 yen.

The "extras" are really a waste of money if you're looking to just play the game.

The extras are lovely!

If I just wanted to play the game I'd stick with my 360 or steam versions! This is about madness.

Update: I'm now low-key looking to buy.
 
I'll keep an eye out for you. Once again, this one is all over the place $ wise. Ibara for some reason started going up to stupid prices lately. I have the artwork (but no box), it's stashed away somewhere. I do like me some Cave paper and cardboard, but damn they raise the price up...

Well that's good news because I got one in trade a few months back. My plan is to let it sit on my shelf and appreciate until I can purchase a second world country.

Besides, it's not like I can play the thing. Ibara is HARD ;(
 
@djsheep exactly! Both your and enemy bullets. And the enemies blur into the background too in some stages to boot (I'm looking at you brown ships on brown backgrounds).
