I've been trying for days to get my CPS2 multi to work but always the same problem. Every time I run a game I get a solid brown/reddish color screen.
Rev 6 board with the G PAL I got with my kit. Also tried with the original F Pal and wire.
- Tried 3 different sd cards, 4gb and 2gb, transcend, kingston and samsung. Reformatted and copied over each time with SD Formatter using the zip file posted on this forum.
- Unplugged and replugged in each board several times. I can not get these any tighter.
- One pin tip was broken on the main board, but I soldered on a replacement and checked for continuity.
- I tried booting without the interconnect board connected and of corse it does the same thing. As suggested here I have made sure it is tight, no daylight or gap between the connections on each board. It wont get any tighter. It is in the right direction, you can tell from the traces it has to go one way.
- Used a paper clip and held it against all 3 pins on EXC5 to short it out.
- I used my multimeter to verify continuity on the jumpers to make sure they are correct.
I'm out of ideas, any suggestions??
