Hello. I bought a naomi recently. I was getting the error 26. When I was using the netdimm I noticed that the white connector in the naomi mobo was loose and one pin (A1) was completely outside and twisted. I took the connector out and another pin (B1) was twisted too.

Is it normal for these two pins to be twisted?

Edwin,

Lots of hardware revisions on the Naomi. Some pics would be helpful.

Well. I put back the connector, so better not touch it again.

It's on the right white connector on this picture, where the cartridges are connected.

The pins were like twisted to avoid it making contact.

It's similar to what is described by twistedsymphony here: [Repair Log] Sega Naomi
yeah, none of the pins should be twisted. "duck bill pliers" that I mention are just small needle nose pliers with a smooth clamping surface so it doesn't scratch or crimp the thing you're gripping they're perfect for straightening bent pins.

if you haven't already, remove the plastic housing from the connector, straighten the pins so they fall in line with the rest of the good pins and then re-assemble.

Thanks for the recommendation. The pins are more like making a loop that being simple bent. It looks they were in that way before the connector plastic case was lose.
