Hello everyone I acquired a MVS NEO-MVH MV4 four slot . I started to wire the board up. I used a rgb to vga adapter for the video,no issues there.
But the audio is another matter
1. The audio sounds very low , very scratchy and especially during heavy sounds,eg, during the intro for FF SPECIAL the visuals "jump" and become distorted. Also in gameplay sounds for hit impacts and character grunts when hit are delayed for a few seconds so punches and kicks are silent.I have checked other threads and the audio issue could be a capacitor or resistor issue.
2.l noticed that on the jamma edge the left and right audio, l am accustomed to the mono connection (where the parts side is positive and ground is on solder side)
I checked the manual , from what l can tell the ground for left and right audio is coming from the 2nd ground (parts side position no.2) ls that correct?
(See attachment)
3. The temporary button for "TEST" isn't working, can l rewire it or use a unibios 4.0 chip to access the bios?
Thanks again for the attention and advice will be appreciated!
