This Progear CPS2 Asia region boardset is 100% Cave/Capcom original with original code (never reloaded) & a new Tadiran axial battery for many more years of worry free operation. This was an authentic business use set & does have a nominal (fixed) crack in the top gray case (don’t know why these Asian sets seem to have this occur often) but the board is super clean and 100% functional. Case is very sturdy as well.

The gray side buttons work on the A board & the A board’s fan has been upgraded to a Papst 612 F fan for cleaner operation. Boardset will also come with metal case clips.

SOLD for $650.

it's very easy to transfert eprom and c board to Japan board, anyway Asia board it's not a fundamental problem.

Asia version doesn't have JP voices? Interesting!
Seems to be a common thing, like in SF3 the Asian versions mute the Japanese voices by default and have to be enabled in the service menu. And the whole thing with Asian Neo-Geo being in English, etc. I think Japan in general is a touchy subject in a lot of Asian markets and they don't want to risk offending some old guy passing by or something (I'm sure the actual players don't care)

The Asian region verison of X-Men vs. Street Fighter also had voices taken out for the whole cast when doing special moves. You’ll only hear a light grunt or nothing at all when a character performs a special move.

That hurts my heart. I never knew that.

I know I noted that on Street fighter 3 2nd impact also, why did capcom do this ?

Japan is a touchy subject in large parts of Asia, so the arcade operators may not want to have machines blaring Japanese voices or showing Japanese text to avoid trouble
