Recently I've grown tired of having bulky test equipment on my desk. I decided to draw up a somewhat modular control panel that's intended use is testing JAMMA. I've created the Mk.II box and will document everything here. It's a small form factor box solely for typical games with 4-8 directional controls, up to 4 buttons, coin and player start buttons and a generic speaker. Obviously buttons can be mapped to anything and you can put whatever you want in it, but the main point of this box is that the doors could easily slide in and out and be held in place via small neodymium magnets. As of today, the prototype holds very well together and is functioning wonderfully. I would like to hear your guys opinions and what you'd move around, add or take away from what you currently see. Keep in mind the goal is to be as compact yet accessible as possible. Once we have some sound suggestions and I do the revisions, I'll upload a proper file so you can 3D print it yourself.
I'm fairly new to this forum, so, apologies if this has already been done to some capacity. Incase anyone is wondering what the Mk.I box was, I've included a picture of that too.
Thanks!
