For anyone who doesn't know why they'd want a Vita:

PS Vita was an amazing indie platform before Switch took the crown, and IMO has better mobile ergonomics. They can be soft modded. While the proprietary memory cards are expensive, there are cheap micro SD adapters that go into the cartridge slot.
