Using the new MMEC protocol it is able to both be a virtual memory card and you can also use OPL and load games from the SD card. This is pretty great for me since my hard drive has always been a little on the fritz.

I did an initial load of about 10 games onto the SD card, and all works well.

I just went and tried to add a new ISO to the DVD folder, and then ran OPL_Manager to drop the artwork down, no issues. But - when I fire up OPL - it just refuses to see the new ISO image on the sd card, and add it to the list.

Has anyone run into this? pressing the refresh button doesn't seem to do anytthing.

Aha! Figured it out... I had a filename that was longer than the allowed character limit (20?) - so basically the OPL parser would just crash and not read anything added after that file. I shortened the name, all good!

I am pretty impressed with this capability on the memcardpro2 - its super easy to use and so far seems quite functional - within the limits of OPL.

I haven't done artwork setup yet or really anything at all aside from loading games. I love it so far. It's so easy and quick to set up and it just works on unmodded hardware.

I've tried a bunch of CD and DVD games and everything so far runs as it should aside from one game: Gradius V. This is the only one that hasn't played at all for me. Curious if anyone else has had problems with this or any other game so far.

Just checked - it also doesn't load for me.
