Puzz loop 1 board spinner

Hello, I was just wondering how to hook up a spinner to the original puzz loop board, not the cartridge one but the stand alone board. I have the stuff I need if I want to make a custom edge connector. I have already wired the spinner to the left and right inputs through the db 15 port in my supergun and had the board in spinner mode but nothing worked. I tried other inputs. The manual doesn’t have documentation on how to wire them up, and the special jamma adapters don’t work for this because the game is expecting circular input aka not tank controls, you move the joystick in the direction you want to shoot. Anyways, thank you for the help!

Are you 100% sure you have an original puzz loop PCB? There are many bootlegs of this game out there.

Good question, it’s a generic green board so maybe. I wasn’t aware they had bootlegs of this game in particular. Maybe I need to get an official game. I noticed some parts of the intro lacked sprites… if you know of one that is selling that is official, let me know!

Would be good to verify. "generic green board" doesn't really tell anything.
I know a lot of the bootlegs don't support analog controls. I had a boot last year that was joystick only, after trying to get my spinner working with it. Sold it right away because I was more interested in playing that game with my spinner.

Unfortunately, I know no one with an official PCB for sale.

Dang. The way I came about this board was so unlikely too, lot of things lined up for me. Sad it’s a boot!
