Rasp Pi Model B Revision 2 - Question Remove MicroSD card?

I just got this Rasp Pi Model B Revision 2 (I think that's what it is)

It has a microSD adapter in the SD slot.

How do I remove the microSD card?

How do I open the blue case? Do I need to remove the pi plate to open the case? How?

Total noob with this...

that case is not designed to use that adapter... it's far too tall and doesn't look like it would fit though the slot. That version of the Pi is designed to have the SD card sticking out the side of the case, it looks like you'll have to remove the board from the case if you want to take the card out.

If you want to continue to use a low profile adapter so it doesn't stick out you'd be better off with one of these: https://www.adafruit.com/products/1763

you'll still have problems fishing it out of that case though.
