I'm big into joysticks, and I generally favour Seimitsu. I used to run a website dedicated to controls, sticks, mechs and mods for same. It fell by the wayside, but back when it was running, c.2008, I made the case that Seimitsu manufactured the exquisitely awesome mechs for the Neo Geo system, which was also used in some ASCII sticks, and at least one Sigma stick.

Decades ago I ended up with a Sigma stick and it was rusted to shit, so I chucked it after harvesting the working bits from it. One of those bits was a mech just like the Neo Geo, but it wasn't until last night that I noticed it was stamped with the Seimitsu name, and a part number.

The internet doesn't seem to know anything about it, so I wrote up what I could figure out.

Anyway, I give you the Seimitsu LS-22.

I also mention that time Seimitsu bought out Sanwa Electronics.

And I discovered this while doing some mounting diagrams for this mech. It's the same, more or less, as the LS-30, but I had the idea to make a whole stick with a Neo Geo mech because it's basically my favourite. And so,

LS-22 (and LS-30, Neo Geo etc) mounting diagram
