Hey, sorry if this the wrong place but I have a set of Simms but one of the 128s appears to have had one of the chips removed. (See pic)

I’m assuming if I can find a simm (32mb most common available) I could graft one of the chips onto my 128 if it’s the same type as the rest on there?
(the chip id is model/code H98F1600R10 if anyone has one)

so close to getting this Mobo up and running and fell at the last hurdle.

If you can find The proper simm it should be easy. The thing is I don't think I have seen a 32mb Hitachi simm.

They're out there. They're the single sided simms. However, the chip ID is H98F1600T10 (went through all of them). Different pinout?

This is a close up of the simm with the missing chip. There is a T10 on there. Not sure what the difference is.

R's are reversed pinout? Would make sense if every other one is.

Aaaaaah. Yeah maybe! Yeah the other Simms I have follow that pattern.

Damn that is one collection of simms. If you do find a spare simm make sure its good before transplanting as it can be a headache to determine if its a bad solder join or ic as they work in pairs
