replacing scsi cd-rom drive with scsi sd card adapter?

Then you're doing something wrong, because those definitely work.
The issue is that the BlueSCSI and SD card work with the Darksoft ISO, but the same BlueSCSI and SD card do not work with the original ISO. I have tried an ISO copied from the original CD, a file converted from MAME, and a file provided by my colleague msamiullah.
I might be doing something wrong, but I followed all the setup and installation steps correctly. I think the problem lies with the ISO file—there might be an extra step involved.

I'm having an issue with having my game being rewritten. Whenever I try to switch to a different game, it just skips the rewriting phase, and launches on the game that it was already on. Is there any specific files that I have to put into my SD card in order to change to a specific game?

Be careful when you test it: your routing and the selected connector can result in a shortcut, then burning the diode on the motherboard.
I don't suggest going cheap when you see the price of a CPS3 mobo.
