Also FWIW, some people might have opted to have position #2 as "Street Fighter III: re:THIRD" instead of the Makoto fix

Looking at this picture, the new remote PCB is the same dimension as the original one, so it should mount just fine.

DIP switches can be a pain. Haven’t done it myself, but swapping for a rotary dial sounds like a slick upgrade. Hopefully someone here’s tackled it and can chime in!

Hi Folks - have any of you tested this with the jasen case? At least for MINE, the rotary switch is a tad too big to fit in the hole....
I can still build these, but I don't think I will be able to use it... which makes me sad...

that's a real shame, is it the switch itself that's too big or the position that's a problem?

The switch itself is just BARELY too big....
you could try sanding down one or more faces

could be worth checking the data sheets to see if either are slightly smaller, they should be all pin compatible.

looks like the GrayHill switch is 9.91mm vs 10mm size of the other two models
