Resistors on EXC1 and EXC2 of cps2 board B.

I recently purchased a CP2 B board with these resistors on the bottom, where capacitors ECX1 and ECX2 are located.

I'd like to know what the resistors' function is.

If anyone knows, I'd appreciate the information.

One was revision 4 and the other with the SMD was revision 6.

I believe it is to drain the energy from the capacitors, cleaning any trace of the key.

More curious is that these resistors were on boards with the original ROMs still with the battery

Aren't the Phonexi'd ROMs void of any encryption/protection on them?

I believe they need the key to be blank though.
