Resolved. I thought the G-harness was seated properly on the IO board, but it wasn't.
Resolving that fixed the issue.
And I had the good sense to buy a step-down transformer to be safe in the future.
Hey all, I just put a TTX3 Multi in my new Vewlix, connected by FastIO. It worked great for a day, then I lost P1 controls while playing Ikaruga. P2 inputs still worked, however. I power cycled it, and still had P2 controls but not P1. Powered cycled again, and no inputs work.
I'm not running a step-down, as I had read those are only needed if using the Taito JVS Power supply. Is that correct? Or is it possible I've fried my IO? (pic attached. Led6 near my finger flashes. The others that are pictured in stay on.)
I have tried swapping cat5 cable, but haven't done any other troubleshooting.
(FYI, cab is an old KC cab that I picked up locally. Fastio was in it when purchased, and worked fine yesterday. TTX3 was a recent purchase from a friend and reputable forum member)
