For sale is a used Retrotink 5x Pro. Comes with original remote; working and awesome.

Also included is the Retro-Access Reversed scart cable (4 feet) that goes for about $60 (The 5x famously has a scart connection that is in reverse orientation).

Asking $340 $300 shipped to the US (contact me for international shipping).

Item is a bit dusty in the pic, so I can send more pics if you want. Let me know if you’re interested!

great item for the peoples who are in searching of a method to downscale ( ex : xbox360 games ) on low / mid res screens used on candy cabs like astro , egret 2 , aero , etc .

GLWS

ps : sorry if i made a mistake , i didnt heard about 24khz (mid res) downscaling , but im sure it's working on 15khz (low res - 240p)

Keep in mind it only downscales to low res (15khz), not mid res (24khz). For mid res you really need a UVC Ultracade ( as you know ;)).

Haven't tried it myself, but I imagine it would go from the 5X HDMI out to a HDMI-VGA converter and then from VGA to jamma.

The RetroTink 5X can downscale resolutions from 720p and lower to output 480i/240p
Though the Retrotink 5X outputs via HDMI

If you can convert that HDMI signal using a transcoder
HDMI to Component
HDMI to RGB

I don't have an Astro City so wouldn't know what would be needed to get that going there

There are other downscalers that are great with zero lag
The OSSC Pro comes to mind
