Ringedge2 powers off after a couple hours

Purchased a RE2 but only runs for about 2 hours then shuts down. Wait for a few mins can power it back on and starts up fine.. my first thought was it was getting hot and shutting down but I haven’t noticed any excessive heat on any of the components.. has anyone experienced this? Running Nikos multi. Any insight much appreciated.

Immediately after a shut down. Seems like it’s a reasonable number..

I’d like to access the bios and possibly look at what the shut down them is set to.

My RE1 runs at 35 celcius.

Shutdown is usually 50 celcuis or more.

Wont be able to access bios easily.

Hmmm ok I’ll look into it maybe it’s just a piece of shit lol. I’ll try to get another. Not much I can do. Is the access the same as RE1?

I would maybe try replacing the power supply first. Can even use a atx or consumer supply, just match the wattage at least.

They are server grade so are reliable but nothing lasts forever.

The mobo turns the power supply on just like any other consumer PC.

Got around to trying another PSU still no effect on it still shuts off after 1:45-2 hours.. not sure what to do now XD I think it’s boned
