I'll take it. PM.
Hi @nem Just wondering if this same chassis can be swapped with the PB9929 that came with the Toshiba tube A68LTF356X. I know you have a post from 2019 with joke and tube specs. The thing is I am unsure if the KW0606A I have came from a Matsushita tube. Any way to tell or if I swap it, will I damage the tube or chassis? Any symptoms I will see if they are not compatible? I see from your post that the PB9929 and the Sanwa KW0606A came with this same tosh tube but then there is one more listed with the Matsushita tube.

This doc has those chassis on the same tube even though the yoke vertical inductance is a bit different

There's an easy way to tell: does the neck board have a pot on it? If it doesn't, and you want to use it on a Tosh tube, you need to add the resistor to it.

The post is here:

Thanks for finding the post for me. There is no potentiometers on the neck board. So I will follow your advice with the 10Mohm resistor.

You can put a pfx on a ms9 tube.
I did not know this. So you mean that a PFX chassis can be paired with the original tosh tube with ms9 yoke, right? The original tosh tube with ms9 chassis has a lot of curvature. Will this cause a bad geometry issue with the PFX chassis?

I have been told it works great.
I am in the process of trying it out.
I suppose adding the resistor can't hurt.

Wow. Please let me know. I have these tubes and chassis. My Sanwa PFX KW0606A is loose now but was working when I got it from previous seller. I have two tosh tubes that came with the ms9 and one Hitachi tube that came with an ms9. Share your results and keep me posted.
