Hello arcade techs !
I have a Sanwa PFX that I try to put on a Shanghai Novel in a NUC.
So far, everything is fine (I put a 10M ohm on JP915 on the neckboard) but I still have a width problem :
With zoom and H size at max, the picture only takes 70-80% of the screen. V Size is at low level (around 30 or 40) and fill the screen.
I did a full capkit, image is sharper, 15k 24k 31k works but still this width issue.
I try the trick to lower B+ via VR401 but can't go down enough (and I think it's not a good solution).
Now I may change the following caps : C425 C426 C430 C431 but these are big brown ones, I doubt they drifted far from their original values.
Another lead is the L408 coil. A previous repair has been done on it, it is glued upside down and two wires added to the PCB. The value on it states 3.8 mH. The redrawn schematic that can be found on net states 3.3 mH for this one.
Could someone confirm the original value for this one ?
Any ideas what other component could cause this width issue ?
