FS SaturnPSU / DreamPSU DIY kits!

so @Sp33dFr34k and myself thought it was a fun project to look at the SaturnPSU now that the files have been publicly released and ordered a bunch of stuff.
We will be selling the rest of the parts we have left at cost price, this means what we paid for it directly from Digikey, PCB fab house, ridiculous Dutch import taxes etc.

So what do we offer and what do you get:
(all prices excluding shipping, will ship in a padded envelope)
Tracked shipping will be €17 worldwide
Untracked shipping is €4,35 for a kit and €2 for a bare PCB

DreamPSU
Bare PCB only, we didn't order parts for this
10 pieces available for €2,50 each
High quality, black finish

SaturnPSU
Almost complete DIY kit:
- PCB
- All parts, caps, resistors etc.
- All headers and mating connectors with crimping pins
- 3D print for the power socket
- Power socket
Also we pre-made all kits, put every individual component in a labeled bag with the description and component name so you can easily find the location on the PCB
Also as a bonus we include a drawing of all component locations on the pcb, this is NOT included on the Github and you need to dig into Eagle software yourself to find it otherwise ;)


What is NOT included:
- Assembly
- Cables, so you need to supply your own to crimp it, all details can be found on the Github from DreamPSU/SaturnPSU
- External 12V PSU


Price for this DIY kit comes in at €37,50, which is like said our base cost price for all parts and taxes!

ridiculous Dutch import taxes etc.

yes, they are a little bit unreasonable sometimes.
 
man, I hope someone in North America does a run of these. The cost of shipping here from Europe is like half the price of the actual kit, after currency conversion! :(
 
if you are from Europe and you want parts from somewhere else besides TME (for these projects they don't have the parts you need) ... you will end to pay on customs something ! so , it's fair enough to grab a DYI kit and crimp some wires to have these PSU replacements.

Hey guys, I have a question for someone more knowledgeable :)

as I posted previously I purchased not 1 but 2 GARBAGE Chinese 3A and 4A power supplies which caused a lot of problems.

I already have a PICO PSU in my Dreamcast but I took it off. I got a Power PWR PLUS 5A PSu

is 12v 5A too much ? will it destroy the Dreamcast ?

I am referring to this power supply

amps cannot be too high, the PSU only delivers what is needed. (Ohms law)
you could even connect a 12V 100A PSU to it without issues if you wanted.

I also use a laptop style 5a adapter, works like a charm. Had a cheap Chinese 2.5a wall adapter at first, this was giving me all sorts of video noise.
 
I want 2 kit for saturn and one for Dreamcast. Where can I find missing DC DIY part\component?
