Got this private message from a user named "Alive" (zero posts, registered end of April 2025) regarding my recent search for a Namco Consolette monitor bezel and control panel:

- of course it's a new profile with absolutely zero other posts
- of course there's no user named LONCOV on the board
- of course he doesn't name the item I'm looking for (too much hassle, I suppose) – in fact he does not even bother to write "items" instead of "item"
- why would someone mention that he has some very obscure Namco parts available "during our chat"?
- of course he tries to direct the exchange off-site to an alleged third party

If you ask me, this has written scam all over it.

Hello guys . In the hunt for a donor for VG420 multi made by Twistedsymphony , i tried to find too on facebook groups and a scammer shows up .

he tried to sell me this auction :

also he gave me this paypal address to pay .. he asked as friend & family but i told him i will only pay for goods & services because we dont know or if is somebody i know and vouch for him , i pay . he wasnt able to present me a
person i know .
