Sega Astro city parts needed - help/ anyone have one?

Hello people, I am looking for a few parts to make my Astro City complete. Maybe someone can help me with this.

Im looking for news Speakercovers, also a new Monitor bezel /the black thing around the Monitor) because pieces are broken off mine and some screws.

Oh... one more thing
I am from Germany, so the journey of the parts would go over the sea hope that is not a problem.

I don't have Astro City but i can tell you this:

Japan uses Metric system which means you can find the screws or nuts in Germany easily. You will have to find out the size of those screws only.

I think they uses M4 size generally in their cabinets. You can buy some of them and can test it.

For the other parts, i recommend to find a car paint or repair center and make them repair.
I know you German people are very good about repair and painting job 🤣

:D Thank u mate, thats my plan if i dont find any replacements also the bezel is broken i definitely need a new one. The rest can be painted. Well maybe someone knows what screws i need. Greetings to Turkey ;)
 
I just went on an adventure to make all the screws in both my Astro City's the same as stated in the Sega manual.
Astro City Manual (日本語）
New Astro City Manual (English)
  • The (3) Front Panel screws inside the control panel are: M5 x 16mm with washers.
  • The Fluorescent Lamp Lid has (5) M4 x 10mm Tapping screws and (2) M4 x 16mm Truss screws.
For the monitor surround I'd check with @YATON.

For the speaker grills, I haven't seen any for sale. You might have to make your own replacements with something like this: Mouser

I do not quite understand this but I think you mean that a cover is missing?

That may look so on the picture but is not really so, here are some close ups.

ya thats what i will do! All i need is a new bezel then everything will be good.
 
I probably should have made a restoration thread but anyway.... I have now repainted the panel glass and replaced the buttons (Mortal Kombat look like). The bezel is still at the painter and the power supply is recapped. Since I get the parts partly only in the USA this lasts certainly still 14 days.

I will keep you up to date. What I still want to do, paint the doors and repair scratches. Also replace all the plastics at the top.
