I know this is a bit of a long shot, but I'm looking for the triangle shaped support that helps bolster the control panel on the Sega Blast City machines. It's most commonly seen on Sega Bass Fishing machines from what I can tell. I can't seem to find a name for it, nor find any source of one.

I imagine most people toss it due to the annoying location of it, but I'd like to install one to give my control panel more support for a twin stick setup

these were added for additional support for the bass fishing control panel as you thought. extra holes are drilled into the center column on the lower section of the blast (the pillar between the service door and the coin doors). Was your machine a converted Bass Fishing? If not you'll need to drill holes in your cab to install.

Yes, most people likely threw them in the trash once removed because they are knee busters and look like a clearly aftermarket/bolt on accessory (ugly). You're application is interesting, but are you really putting that much extra stress on the control panel that this is necessary?

The ol' knee basher. I have removed these from many, many Bas Fishing Blasts. I'm 99% sure I do not have any left, but I'll take a look for you later this week.

Yeah, I imagine they're usually not sought after in any capacity, though I do have some younger kids and would rather be worry free if possible!

I'm not, no - but I have young kids who lack awareness and would prefer the peace of mind than cracking the panel.
