I had a request from a fb group to reproduce this bracket where the lock tang inserts into. If anyone has a part number that would be useful. Or know exactly which cabs this is for?
Since I'm reproducing this with a 3D Print in plastic I added side supports to give the part more rigidity. It's obviously not going to be as strong as the metal part, but for home use only I don't see the issue. I didn't follow the exact original design with cut corners because whatever, it's inside. Here's a quick a dirty but functional model.
If you want one let me know, I can print and sell them. Or feel free to print your own, scad and stl file attached.
I realize I have no control over data in the Public Domain, but I will state that I release these design files with the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 US license. Which basically says do whatever you want, even commercially. Do give attribution to the creator, if you use, post, or remix the files.
