Hey so I got a chihiro which has been dubbed by me as the "Chihiro from hell" as its been decently unreliable. Currently it has a 1 in 50 chance of booting properly. My setup involves an atx power supply which works wonderfully with my naomi. On my Chihiro I have the type 1 & type 3 boards for swapping. Whenever I boot the unit I get a solid green staus light which dissappear with the rest of the led on the media boards. So far capacitor swaps were done during its era of reliability. It kind of just stopped working randomly. Anyone got any ideas. So far I've cleaned all wires, sourced a new AVIP, and dozens of boot configurations. I've called up ken and even he was confused when I asked him about it

Try checking the interconnects between the baseboard, media board, and Xbox mainboard. An intermittent boot rate like that often points to a marginal connection or power issue rather than a single failed component.
