For Sale - Sega Model 2 driving arcade hardware - $400 ONO.
This would have originally been found inside a Sega Rally or Daytona cab. Comes with pedals, wheel with all force feedback hardware and gear stick. It also has the 110v power transformer with wired in AU plugs to power it all.
The Sega hardware comes with a complete L2M2 force feedback setup. This allows you to connect the original Sega hardware to a PC and run it using Model 2 Emulator, MAME or SuperModel Emulator. I used to use it using Model 2 emulator for Daytona and it gives arcade accurate force feedback using a Windows PC running Windows 7 and drivers for a Logitech Driving Force Pro.
By installing the drivers and connecting the hardware to your PC via USB, the wheel and pedals detects as a Windows supported Logitech wheel, while providing full arcade force feedback via the gears, clutch and motor in the Sega hardware. To wire this up, you would need to install it into an empty driving cab and connect the required power and data plugs to your own PC. I used to have this running in an old driving cabinet. I replaced the driving cabinet with a newer one which also has an L2M2 setup, and have stored this gear for a while. No need for it these days, so time to move it on.
This is all located in Brisbane, Australia and due to the size and weight, local pickup only.
