Sega Model 2B No 3D Models

I was wondering if there is any info on what can be wrong if you have a boardset where non of the 3d models/polgons appear, but the other layers like backgrounds and text show. Also all tests pass like memory and tgp test so i am at a bit of a loss. It doesn't feel like its gonna be something easy to sort out ha
