I was wondering if anyone is capable of making some of these "Memory 512MB" decals that go on the Sega Naomi Net-DIMMS. I upgraded a few from the 256MB and wanted to put the proper labels on them.

They made a 1GB sticker too (yellow color, same font/style) I'd rather have thos. ;)
 
LOL I don't have any DIMMs with that kind of ram in it .. I can't even think of any Naomi 1/2 games except for the newer Melty Blood game that would even use that much. I don't own a Triforce or any of the other rigs (maybe some day).
 
Naaaaah. If I find a need I would do it .. otherwise money gets budgeted to other projects. A good example is I have three (3) Naomi 2's that need repaired and that ain't gonna be cheap no matter how I do it.

​This is one of the things I wanted to start making with my cutting machine. I really need to upgrade my printer though.

If I ever get my print quality sorted I'd like to make a "NAOMI Sticker Pack" that includes the Memory stickers, firmware version stickers, and some other stuff.

There isn't a single game on NAOMI or Tri-Force that needs 1GB.... so kind of pointless if you've already got it setup for 512MB.
 
Yeah I could make the graphics for the 256MB pretty easy .. but no one needs em :( However everyone could use the 512MB ones as I've upgraded every NetDIMM I get my hands on to 512MB :) I just don't have a quality printer to do this.
 
OK this thread is solved .. kinda.

I am by no means a printer but I managed to fumble enough to print some to put on my stuff. I printe dthem on adhesive backed labels and put laminate over them. They are a little thicker than the original labels. The print and size look to be right on. The colors are slightly off. But all and all they will work for what I need them for. I made enough to where I figured cutting them out I should get 1-2 good ones because I am not the greatest at doing that either

I even made a 1GB one as I decided to upgrade the RAM in my NetDIMM to 1GB.

So this is what it looks like. I had the NetDIMM apart upgrading the RAM to 1GB.

This is what it looks like back together. It's a little crowded with the reset relay and stuff. And yes that is a sexy custom @Derick2k custom painted Black Naomi 1. I soon hope to replace it with a normal @Derick2k Naomi 2 LOL

It took me a bit to tinker with sizing it to the right size.

Also if anyone has the measurements in mm for their netdimm memory decal (width and height including the white border) please share this. I will then resize these decals that were posted and upload as another file, so you don't have to. I looked through various threads on this and although some have expressed an intent to post these measurements I can't see that anyone has done it yet.

Failing that, you can probably make a pretty good estimate of size based on the photos of the decal on a netdimm above.

I'll measure the existing 128 MB sticker on my netdimm. Thank you!

Edit: @daytoroma I got 3.5cm on a tape measure so 35mm if my American brain understands the metric system correctly 😅
