I've never seen this whole package.
But I have a lot of the sound amplifier PCB that's inside.

Not sure if your still looking.

Yaton arcade has 2 $150 usd free shipping

What were these usually found in? Astro's and Versus cabs?

I've got a slightly different variant in my Japanese Virtua Cop 2 cabinet, and also seen another variation to all of these in another Jap VC2 cabinet :-/

Looks like it’s an option in the new astro city. They are all so old now and parts been shuffled around it’s hard to know for sure. I have just brought a new astro and it is coming with the sound amp as per the second image in this thread.

Mine (sorry, not for sale) but as mentioned is another variation.

I tried to work out what was supposed to be in what ages ago but it is not very well documented.

I had one in a New Astro City.

I have a slightly different one in my Astro City 2.

Yea I added it to my carts weeks ago, I just haven't pulled the trigger.
I brought 2 of them yesterday from Yaton when I found them. Will let you know what they look like when they arrive. I found the NOS cables that will plug into that amp and have a jamma board, with a plug to switch between the amp and jamma board sound from Legend HK. he has a few left.

Yaton be killing me with the no auto combined shipping. Ugh I might as well pick up one. Also can you share the link for the Legend HK. There’s a seller on eBay by Japan-arcade who makes new harnesses but he’s really expensive and always away on vacation 🙄.

I have a spare NVS 4000, I can throw into the cab but the harness required is so expensive. Currently have one in my AC 2 and it’s a rats nest with all the wiring.

These amp psu attachments are so more simpler and take up less space.

I emailed him on the live chat, he replied the next day, as i asked for some discount if i brought 2x amps. he said he could knock of $50. To just pay the full amount and then he would credit back the discount and has done so. So pretty good in my books. I purchased from him recently and you don't get any tracking or notifications ect but the stuff did arrive only maybe 2-3 weeks to Australia.

i just took a better look at the harness and it will need some slight mods but much better than my chopped up cabinet. it does not appear to output -5v but 1 wire is easy enough to add. Plus it gives me heaps of plugs and options to make up something for my needs.

Sound amps arrived today so only 20 days to Australia, they actually look pretty good, just filthy dirty as expected. Haven't turned them on yet, but they were listed as working.

So far for me Yaton has been really good at delivering.

cheers
