Turned my sega stv on today and most of the graphics are distorted and discolored. I tried reseating everything and tried multiple games. Voltage tests good. I can provide pictures later if that would help narrow this down.

If you hold the TEST button down when powering up, you can get into a dev test menu I think. It should have some extra tests you can run.

run those dev tests. it could need one of the customs to be reflowed, you could lightly press down on those one-at-a-time to see if it changes things

Not really lol but I guess now is a good time to learn. Any tips? Am I reflowing the 2 sh-2 chips?
Sounds from your PM like you already gave that a try. For posterity, the test glitched out with the vram so I would have started there, I just don’t know offhand which is the vram.
